“I love my kitchen. We expanded the pantry with a barn door entrance, incorporated a larger 48" built fridge, made adjustments to the current cabinetry, created a coffee center, and took the prior multi-level island out and created a huge single level island with farmhouse copper sink. "Shaw Structures recently completed an addition to our home that provided a larger Master Bedroom and Bath, a large walk-in closet, and a powder bath. We were very pleased with the progress of the job and the finished product. Tom Shaw was easy to work with, listened to what we wanted, and was considerate, providing information daily about which workmen would be coming to do what job at what time. If that changed, he provided new information as soon as it was set up. His workmen were polite and courteous, enthusiastic and caring about the quality of work they did. They were knowledgeable and brought to our attention things we had omitted that they thought we might wish to consider. We always used their suggestions and were grateful for their professional input. We appreciated Tom always being present to make sure the appropriate men, materials, and equipment were here to do the job and that it was being done well. "We are very pleased with the remodeling work done on our kitchen, dining, and living areas. Mark Montgomery was on-budget, on-schedule, and on-time. He was always available via email, text, and phone to answer our questions. He showed up frequently to monitor the progress and kept us updated on the upcoming work to be done. His attention to detail is refreshing and his follow-up was appreciated. At several points during the renovation, he gave us valuable suggestions that helped to steer us in the right direction. "Tom Shaw was very professional from the beginning and was able to work with my wife who is a bit of a perfectionist. We talked with him describing what we wanted and he came back with what we had pictured. We had him put a second floor over our kitchen and garage which gave us a large gameroom, bedroom, bathroom and storage closet. Tom was on site everyday that workers were here. All work done was permitted and inspected. The contractors he used were professional and courteous at all times. The job was finished in the time projected. We did go over the estimated cost because of changes we made. I would recommend Shaw Structures to any one looking for an addition or remodel."
